Boozy Halloween Floats
Babes. I have confession to make.
I absolutely love macabre things. Let me rephrase that, I have an obsession with macabre things. So needless to say I'm really into Halloween. All of the sudden skulls are in every store, along with tons of black velvet, we're eating candies in the shape of skeletons, AND every channel is playing scary movies on repeat! It's seriously the best! I honestly wish Halloween had more of a build up rather then just the month of October. Or if it was like Christmas where we all leave up our decorations well past the next holiday...
Anyway despite my love for the holiday if I'm not working an event on Halloween I usually choose to stay in(maybe this comes from years of working in hospitality?) watch the scariest movies I can find all while eating tons of bite size candies and themed food items. I'm actually one of those people who buys wine from the section target puts out of "scary" looking labels just to keep it even more themed. I'm not proud of that one.
This year in addition to the usual spread I'll be making this Boozy Halloween Float to satisfy the Halloween need for booze and for sweets at the same time. It's really about efficiency here ;).
Perfect for a Halloween Night in
Break out the Jager! We can all enjoy a little flashback to our college days when we all drank jager for some unknown reason. I know it's hard to revisit this liquor, but I promise you it will be worth it.
Ingredients (per serving):
1 shot of Jagermeifter
1 heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream
(optional) black sprinkles for garnish
- Pour a splash of Jägermeister into a shallow dish and dip the rims of each glass. Next dip the edge of each glass into the black sprinkles
- .Then pour a shot of lager into each glass
- Add a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream
- Top off with cream soda to your liking and enjoy!
This is honestly a perfect dessert for a little Halloween night in. And maybe a nightcap/dessert the rest of the week too. Hey how else are you going to finish that bottle of Jager?
Happy Halloween Babes!
